President's Welcome
The Chamber of Commerce is
proud to call the La Crescent Home to many businesses and
individuals that make up the chamber. Even though
Legislative action officially designated La Crescent as
the Apple Capital of Minnesota, we have more to offer.
In addition to the beautiful bluffs and river valley, we
have a thriving business community and clean residential
areas second to none. The schools provide an
excellent education for our youth; and several activities
are available for the mature folks also. The
downtown area continues to provide products and services
distributed throughout the Midwest and employ hundreds of
people. Yet some smaller businesses provide the
personal touch where you know the owner. The
Churches of the area provide services for a number of
different faiths. Welcome to the Apple Capital of
Minnesota; and once you see what we have, I am sure you
will become a resident of our healthy, caring, and
beautiful area.
